STROUDSBURG — A man will spend up to 80 years in prison for a double murder in Monroe County.
Luis Vasquez was sentenced Monday to 30 to 80 years in prison.
In March, he pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree murder for the shooting deaths of Joseph King and Bertoldo Velez.
Vasquez was arrested for the crimes in September of 2012.
Police say Vasquez killed his co-workers at a park in Tobyhanna in August 2012 because he owed one of them thousands of dollars.
