LEWISBURG -- A contractor who admitted taking money from investors was sentenced Friday in Union County.
Ted Cresswell of Mifflinburg was sentenced to 11 and a half to 23 months in jail and must pay $150,000 in restitution.
He pleaded guilty in November to deceptive or fraudulent business practices.
Cresswell was accused in 2013 of spending more than $240,000 from ten people.
Authorities say that money was supposed to be invested in a storage facility in Union County but the place was never built.
