DUNMORE — A hotel in Dunmore that’s been closed since a carbon monoxide leak appears to have changed hands.
It seems the hotel on Tigue Street has dropped its affiliation with Best Western and the Best Western sign has been covered up outside.
In August, about two dozen guests were sent to a hospital to be checked for carbon monoxide poisoning.
According to Dunmore borough officials there are still lots of repairs that need to be made before the property can reopen as a hotel. They include HVAC problems, a broken sprinkler system, cracks in the wall, and water heaters that need to be replaced.
We haven’t heard from anyone at the hotel.
