First snow of the year

Much needed rain arrives before the snow

***WEATHER IMPACT ALERT FRIDAY MORNING***

Rain is spreading over our region tonight and will continue throughout the day tomorrow.  It's all thanks to a storm system approaching from the west and bringing the much needed rain.  A second low will form along the coast and pull down colder air over PA, helping change the rain to snow Thursday night into Friday.  That could make for slick roads on Friday morning, so be prepared for delays.  That's why we've issued a "Weather Impact Alert" for Friday morning, slippery roads.

Tonight: Cloudy with rain, heavy at times. Low 41.

Tomorrow: Rain showers throughout the day and some snow showers. High 44.

Thu Night: Breezy and colder, rain changing to snow showers. Low 34.

Friday: Cloudy, breezy and colder with rain and snow showers. High 40.

Saturday: Partly sunny. High 46.

Sunday: Partly sunny. High 46.
