PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Voting for the Pennsylvania “River of the Year” has begun and one of the nominees runs through our area.
The river nominees this time around include the Delaware River, which forms part of Pennsylvania’s border with New York and New Jersey.
Past "River of the Year" winners include:
- 2024 – Allegheny River
- 2023 – Susquehanna North Branch
- 2022 – French Creek
- 2021 – Shenango River
- 2020 – Lackawanna River
