LEHIGHTON, Pa. — The Carbon County Sports Hall of Fame inducted 21 new members today from a wide range of sports, including players, coaches, and even officials who have made an impact in their career. One of those members of the 2024 class is Lehighton native and current NFL official Duane Heydt.
"Just that they thought about an official to be inducted into the Hall of Fame is an honor for me, for my hometown. To come back home and see a lot of old faces, friendly faces," said Heydt.
Former Panther Valley coach, the late Cazzie Kosciolek was also inducted. His son, Caz, accepted the honor.
