#10 Southern Columbia takes on Wyomissing in search of Roth's 500th win

The Tigers opening their season with District 3 powerhouse Wyomissing. Coach Roth says the Tigers have a tough schedule as they aim for win 500.

WYOMISSING, Pa. — The Spartans looking to start strong after their PIAA state semifinals run last season. And Tigers head coach Jim Roth looking for his 500th career win.

Out of the gate, the Spartans Jumed in front early, Brady Eisenhower hands it off to justice Hardy who bounces his way outside and finds the endzone. Wyomissing leads 7–0.

Then in the 2nd quarter… Tyler Niedrowski drags down a defender on his way to the endzone. Spartans jump to a 28–0 lead going into the half.

The Tigers got rolling in the 3rd, QB Aiden Hockenbrach rolls out – is looking for his guy Blaise Kissinger – who’s able to haul in southern Columbia’s first touchdown. Tigers trailing 28–7

Tigers continue to fight their way back – this time a handoff to Brayden Andrews. Andrews fights his way in for the score to make it 35–21

The Tigers with a last ditch effort to come within 7, Hockenbrach is sacked by Chase Eisenhower,

Wyomissing gets the win 35-21.  The Tigers will try for Coach Roth's 500th win next week against Loyalsock. Roth mentioning post game this young team needs to grow up fast with a tough schedule ahead.
