Friday's events were all about the girls, but on Saturday it was a lot of boys getting the attention!
Boys 4x800 Meter Relay AA..  Lakeland had some heat on their tails going into the last exchange, but the last leg was a strong one to get them the silver medal!

Girls AA 100 hurdles.. Cassidy Jenkins giving the Chiefs some more hardware... she finished on the podium in 2nd.
Boys AA 110 Meter Hurdles... 3 guys from our area in the super close final.  Luke Rarig from Southern Columbia comes away with gold winning by 7 tenths of a second over Tyler Burger from Northwest!  Milton's Ian Nieves came in 4th.

Boys AA 100m dash.. Bloomsburg's Jahvel Hemphill had a run for his money from his competition, but the sophomore goes back to back as state champ with a winning time of 10.76
Boys AA 3200 Meter Run.. a tight race for several laps between Lake Lehman's Dominic Hockenbury and South Williamsport's Griffin Molino.  Late in the race, Hockenbury turned on the after burners and ran his way to a gold medal!

AND IN THE FIELD EVENTS...

Scranton Prep's Nick Solfanelli competing in AA javelin.. he hurls it 186 feet 10 inches.. good enough for 4th place
AA girls triple jump.. Rebecca Carmody has a good showing for Western Wayne.. she jumped 36 feet 9 and a half inches to finish 5th.

AA GIRLS JAVELIN... Maura Fiamoncini of Mount Carmel...her best throw came in at 139 feet 11 inches giving her the silver medal

Girls AAA discus...  Selinsgrove's Courtney McCartney adds another gold medal to her collection after throwing... 139 feet! Lake Lehman's Emily Johns finished 4th..

boys AAA high jump.. Qayyim Ali from Williamsport came in jumping 6 feet 7, but one inch shy was still good enough for gold!!
