MESHOPPEN, Pa. — The 2A Boy's up first and Riverside's Daniel Danilovitz attacking the 3.1-mile course at the Wyoming County Fairgrounds and the Viking coming in first in 16:14.
“This win really does mean a lot to me. Ever since I won it since 2021 I really wanted to go for it
again. I came really close last year and my freshman year,” said Daniel.
In the 2A race it was Madison Hedglin from Dallas blistering the field and finishing in 18:39 for the District II "2A" title.
“It was definitely nice. I am just glad that I made it to states again and I am hoping that I have a really good race next week,” said Madison.
The Boy's "A" race winner went to Kendal Jones from Elk Lake. He had long strides and attacked the 3.1 mile course and finishing in an amazing time of 16:21.

I could because I know that there a lot of good runners behind me,” said Kendal.
And then for the Girl's "A" it was Carissa Flynn from Mountain View and the Eagle flying coming in
first and winning the district title in 19:34.
“It was really nice like conditions it was beautiful outside I really enjoyed it today,” said Carissa.
In the "3A" race all eyes will be on Scranton's Brian McCormack. Already he's won
the Cliff Robbins Invitational this past year out at Misericordia University and also
brought home a championship at the Lackawanna County Commissioner's race at McDade Park.
McCormack with a new course record of 15:50 and he is the District II "3A" champion.
“So today was ideal temperature. Wanted to just get out there and go on a run you know,” said Brian.
And Emma Horsley from Abington Heights the big kick up the hill to pass her teammate Anna
Pucilowski.. Horsley wins the District II "3A" title.
“I didn't think that it was in me. I swear I didn't have it all until I saw the cones,” said Emma.
