Thursday Night Football | Here's how you can watch tonight's clash between the Eagles and the Commanders

The Birds host Washington in a key NFC East showdown tonight at 8:15 p.m. The game streams exclusively on Amazon Prime.

PHILADELPHIA — There's good news and bad news for Philadelphia Eagles fans in Central Pennsylvania.

The good news: Your Birds have won five straight games, have the second-best record in the NFC at 7-2, and are a half-game ahead of their Thursday Night Football opponent, the Washington Commanders, in the NFC East standings.

The bad news: If you're hoping to watch the Eagles take on the Commanders on cable TV tonight, you're probably out of luck.

That's because Thursday Night Football is not available on network television, unless you happen to be living in the Philadelphia or Washington D.C. areas. Otherwise, the game is being streamed exclusively on Prime, which requires a subscription.

Here's what you need to know about the game.

Commanders (7-3) at Eagles (7-2)

Kickoff: 8:15 p.m.

Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia

TV: Streaming exclusively on Prime

Betting Line: Eagles are 3.5-point favorites. The over/under is 49. The moneyline: Eagles (-185); Commanders (+150)

About the Matchup: The Eagles have won five straight games, including a 34-6 rout of the Dallas Cowboys on the road last week. The defense has allowed just over 200 yards and 13 points per game during their five-game winning streak, while the offense is getting healthier and beginning to thrive with QB Jalen Hurts, RB Saquon Barkley, WRs A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith, and TE Dallas Goedert.

Washington has been one of the biggest surprises of the season behind rookie quarterback Jalen Daniels, who has proven to be effective both as a runner and a passer. The Birds haven't faced a bigger mobile threat all season. The Commanders dropped a tough 28-27 decision at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week. Philly could prove to be an even bigger test in this prime-time road game.
