A college wrestling standout was killed in a crash in Union County.
The coroner says 29 year old Michael Dessino of Bloomsburg died of severe burns he received in a crash Saturday on Route 15.
Dessino's car was hit by another vehicle near the ramp for Old Route 15 in White Deer Township.
Bloomsburg University says Dessino was a former wrestling standout and a current volunteer assistant coach with the wrestling team.

"It's one of those things, it doesn't feel real. Whenever you get that phone call, it's a phone call you never want to receive," said Bloomsburg University wrestling Coach Marcus Gordon on the death of Destino. "He brought a lot to the program in the sense that he was a dream come true for a coach. He did everything right. He was a great kid on and off the mat, really just a gentle giant and then it's been awesome coaching beside him and now trying to make sure you do what's best for Mike and his family right now."
Dessino leaves behind his wife, Kat, who's expecting their first child in September.
