There's more than just baseball to experience at the Little League World Series

Newswatch 16's Mackenzie Aucker found all kinds of fun off the field.

SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — "So many like good players going against other good players and seeing how like they play and stuff," said Bryce Smeigh, Mechanicsburg.

It's all about baseball at the Little League World Series but there's a lot more do to than just watching the games.

"Just over there with the pins, my 4-year-old over here got—even though he didn't hit it in the bucket, they still gave him a pin, the folks from T-Mobile, it's family here and this is what it's all about," said Jim Heile, Mechanicsburg.

The Little League World Series Fan Zone is a place for kids of all ages to trade pins, win prizes, and play games. Kip Trembley from New Jersey got one of the biggest prizes of the day--a piece of cardboard!

"On the way here, we couldn't find any cardboard and my dad said that he saw cardboard behind the thing and so I asked them for cardboard and now I can slide down the hill."

Dan Beam has been coming to the Little League World Series since he was six years old. Now, he brings his family! Beam says every year at the Little League World Series is a unique experience.

"I think it's you know kind of a unique atmosphere that you get when you come here, it's--everybody's kind of having fun, it's you know a very cool thing to see kids from all over the world play baseball so it's pretty passionate thing and it's a lot of fun."

The fun never stops here at the Little League World Series and in the Fan Zone.
