HERSHEY, Pa. — Police have arrested a Brooklyn, NY man who was wanted in connection to the robbery of a family in a Hersheypark parking lot earlier this summer, and are seeking a second suspect, as well.
Huley Williams, 63, was arraigned on Sept. 17 and sent to Dauphin County prison without bail.
He has been charged with with robbery, aggravated assault, theft from a motor vehicle, access device fraud, theft by unlawful taking, criminal use of a communication facility, and multiple counts of criminal conspiracy in connection to the alleged incident, which occurred on the afternoon of July 27.
According to police, a family was returning to their car from Hersheypark when they found a man, later identified as Williams, rummaging through the back seat of their vehicle.
One of the victims confronted Williams, who allegedly slashed the victim in the face with a sharp object before fleeing the scene with the victim's credit card.
Williams used the stolen card to make a fraudulent purchase at a Target store in Bensalem, Bucks County, later that day, police said.
Later, police said that a second victim told police that their credit card and cash had been stolen from the Hersheypark parking lot, and was used to make over $5,600 in fraudulent purchases.
Authorities were able to identify a second suspect, Isabel Santos, 44, who allegedly worked with Williams to steal the items.
Police say that Santos has ties to New Jersey, and is wanted on charges related to theft, conspiracy, and access device fraud.
Anyone with information on Santos’ whereabouts or who has information related to the incident can contact the Derry Township Police Department at 717-534-2202.
