WYOMING COUNTY, Pa. — A man from Wyoming County has been charged with animal cruelty after police say he killed a kitten.
John Murphy, 63, of Tunkhannock, is charged with one count of aggravated cruelty to animals and one count of cruelty to animals.
Police say Murphy threw a kitten against a trailer, resulting in the kitten's death.
It happened Monday morning.
Murphy claimed the kitten bit him.
A witness said Murphy has done this in the past to other cats.
