Wyoming County Fair is underway near Meshoppen

The fair is a significant fundraiser for the Meshoppen Fire Department. It's been around since the 1850s.

WYOMING COUNTY, Pa. — The Wyoming County Fair is a Labor Day Weekend tradition.

The fair has been around since the 1850s and continues growing yearly.

There are rides, food, and animals to see at the fairgrounds near Meshoppen.

Blaise Cleveland is the Vice President of the Meshoppen Fire Department, and he says, "The fair is the largest fundraiser for the volunteer fire department. We just built a new fire hall, so it helps to pay all those bills. We are looking to expand our fleet of trucks and get a new truck, so it helps us out."

The Wyoming County Fair runs through Labor Day.
