Tunkhannock's Wild Women Festival this Sunday

Tunkhannock will be having their annual Wild Women of NEPA Festival this Sunday.

TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. — The Wild Women of NEPA Festival will be held this Sunday, August 25th in Lazybrook Park in Tunkhannock.

The annual outdoor gathering focuses on women's empowerment, wellness and nature. Melissa Roberts, the event organizer, says the event is about "supporting and celebrating each other."

With admission, attendees can access over 40 workshops, including yoga, meditation, dance, creative arts and nature inspired walks.

The event will have a rejuvenation station as well with plenty of relaxing activities and a space dedicated to moms. Kids are welcome at the event, with children 10 and under free to attend.

Along with empowering women, the festival's fundraising efforts support a good cause in the local community. Each year, a local woman-focused nonprofit is selected to be the beneficiary. This year's beneficiary is the 3rd Annual Climb in Nay Aug Park.
