TUNKHANNOCK, Pa. — Officials say a snake that was reported missing in part of Wyoming County has now been found.
The black and silver red tail boa constrictor named Elizabeth went missing from her home Saturday evening in the area of Pine Street in Tunkhannock, police said.
The domesticated snake, which measures between 10 and 13 feet long, remained at large Sunday morning before being found around 7 p.m. in a neighboring yard.
Officials say Elizabeth's owner is very happy to have her home safe.
