NOXEN -- Flames gutted a home in Wyoming County Tuesday.
Crews were called out just before 5:30 p.m. to the place on Dimock Hill Road in Noxen.
Fire crews from Luzerne and Wyoming County battled the flames.
Firefighters had to battle more than just flames. The owner of the home said he had an extensive gun collection inside his place and firefighters said ammunition started exploding when the fire broke out.
Officials say the flames started in the kitchen and sparked brush fires around the home.
The home was destroyed. The owner said he told crews to just let the place burn to cut down on his cleanup efforts.
There were no reports of any injuries.
