WYOMING COUNTY, Pa. — A Wyoming County man has been charged after a deadly wreck over the summer.
Abigail Messersmith, 17, was a passenger in a car driven by Issac Eiden, 20, and killed in a head-on collision on Route 307 in Overfield Township, near Lake Winola, in August.
Investigators said Eiden crossed into the opposite lane and hit a truck. Messersmith later died at the hospital.
Police say Eiden's blood alcohol level was more than twice the legal limit. He has been charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
The truck driver was not injured.
