HONESDALE, Pa. — Officials in Wayne County spent the morning remembering and honoring those killed on September 11, 2001.
First responders, veterans, and residents gathered in front of the 9/11 memorial along Court Street in Honesdale for a moment of silence, the ringing of the bell, and other tributes.
Congress designated September 11 as Patriot Day to honor the nearly 3,000 people who died in the attacks.
