WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — Note: The above video is from an earlier story.

Wayne County Coroner Edward R. Howell on Sunday confirmed that two people are dead following a three-vehicle wreck Saturday night in Cherry Ridge Twp.

The two people who died in the 8:43 p.m. crash on state Route 191 were identified as 22-year-old William A. McBurney, of Canaan Twp., and 21-year-old Kylee M. Pendell, of Hawley.

They were in different vehicles that collided near the intersection of Wanoka Road and Lake Ariel Highway. How the crash happened remains under investigation.

Neither wore a seatbelt, the coroner said.

Hoadleys Road shut down and traffic backed up along the Lake Ariel Highway while police investigated.
