GOULDSBORO, Pa. — State police expect to charge a dog owner after two people were attacked by her animals in Wayne County.
Troopers were called to an address inside Pocono Ranchettes, a private community in Lehigh Township near Gouldsboro, on Monday morning.
Several dogs were seen in the roadway when they arrived, along with two injured victims.
Troopers learned that Lori Mulvey, who had previously rented the property, had been evicted but had left her dogs behind. During questioning, Mulvey admitted that she owned the dogs and confirmed her last visit to the property on February 10 to feed them.
One victim was taken to the hospital and is being treated for a partial arm amputation. The other victim was treated and released.
A dog warden took seven dogs.
State police say charges against Mulvey are pending.
