HONESDALE -- It just would not be the holiday season without the annual Santa parade in Honesdale.
Hundreds lined Main Street downtown for the show.
There were lights, songs, a snowman even made an appearance, along with Santa of course.
The holiday tradition attracts people of all ages.
Many come year after year, either to watch or participate in the event.
"Everybody has a great time, we enjoy being in it," said Kathie Dulay who rode a float at the parade.
"I think it's a wonderful small town atmosphere that you really can't get going to a big environment. It's safe, and it's lots of fun to see family and friends at the same event," said Chris Wimmers, who brought her toddler to see the parade.
"The kids really enjoy seeing the parade, and they're really exited about seeing Santa Claus, that's one of the highlights. It's just a great time to get out and spend with with your family," said Sueellen Hoger of Honesdale.
