WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — A Road Rally benefitted a fire company in Wayne County on Sunday.
16 antique cars from along the East Coast took part in the 400 mile distance rally to raise money for Beach Lake Fire Company in Berlin Township near Honesdale.
Organizers say drivers from all over came together for the event.
"A lot of this money that's coming to the fire company comes from out of town. We really appreciate the drivers that come in from out of town and spend pretty good chunks of money here on little things like raffles, and even their entry fee really helps pay for our donation to the fire company," said James Rutledge, Northeast Rally Club.
The Road Rally raised more than $8,600 for the fire company in Wayne County.
