HONESDALE, Pa. — Students put on a special performance Saturday in Wayne County.
The Pennsylvania Music Educator's Association Region Four Band performed at Honesdale High School.
Saturday's concert was for students from Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania to have a chance to work together and show others what they could do.
"It means so much to these students. And I'm a product of these festivals, many of the directors are as well. I can speak for them too that it's sometimes you're just finding yourself, and for them this is their niche. Even if they're not going into music, they've found their passion in this and found their joy in this," said Alison Simon, PMEA District 9 President.
Students in the band could also audition for the all-state level of concerts in April.
