Flames broke out at a home along Stalker Road in Manchester Township, not far from the New York state line, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — One man is dead after a fiery explosion in Wayne County, according to state police.

Flames broke out at a home along Stalker Road in Manchester Township, not far from the New York state line, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Pennsylvania State Police say a neighbor discovered the fire when he heard an explosion outside his window.  That's when he looked outside and saw the home completely engulfed in flames.

First responders found a 62-year-old man dead inside the home.

The Wayne County Coroner's Office identified the man as Michael Osborne of Neptune, New Jersey. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.

A state police fire marshal is investigating what sparked the fatal fire early Christmas Eve morning in Wayne County.

It is not considered suspicious at this time.
