WAYNE COUNTY, Pa. — The body of a fisherman, missing for more than a week in Wayne County, has been found.
State police say Franklin Piercy, 63, of Berlin Township, near Honesdale, was reported missing last Monday after going ice fishing on Duck Harbor Pond in Damascus Township.
On Tuesday night, after searching for several days, the Pennsylvania State Police Marine Unit located the man's body in the pond. An autopsy is planned for Thursday.
