Probation sentence in Corey Edkin cold case

Henry Bush was sentenced on Thursday after a no contest plea earlier this year.

UNION COUNTY, Pa. — A man charged for allegedly lying to police in the case of a boy who went missing from Union County decades ago has been sentenced after a plea.

Henry Bush was sentenced on Thursday to one year of probation. Bush pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of obstruction of administration of law or other government function.

Two-year-old Corey Edkin went missing from his home in New Columbia in October of 1986. In 2020, police interviewed Bush about the little boy's disappearance.

A grand jury recommended last year that Bush be charged after allegedly admitting he lied to investigators.

Edkin has never been found.
