UNION COUNTY, Pa. — Emergency crews were called to Route 45 in Hartley Township Union County late Thursday night.
State Police say a cattle truck hauling about 90 cows went off the road and lost control, rolling over.
Police say about 30-40 cows died as a result of the crash. The rest of the cows were transported to a local farm.
The driver of the truck has minor injuries.
Traffic is moving again in Union County.
