LEWISBURG, Pa. — Investigators in Union County are searching for the person who hit a historic street light and took off.
According to borough leaders, someone hit the tri-globe street light on Saturday at the intersection of North Water Street and Market Street in Lewisburg. Officials say the light was hit with such a force that the concrete base in the ground shifted, and nothing of the light fixture itself was salvageable.
No one was hurt in the crash, but the street light was destroyed.
Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Lewisburg Borough Office at 570-523-3614.
