UNION COUNTY, Pa. — A man pleaded guilty to attempted homicide in Union County Thursday.
Investigators say on March 4th, 2023 Barry Kline robbed a liquor store and later stabbed a man outside a car wash in Mifflinburg.
Police say Kline, who was 51 at the time of the crime, walked into Mifflinburg Fine Wine and Good Spirits and stole a bottle of rum while showing a knife to the store attendant, and then walked to Mifflinburg Buggy Wash and stabbed a man in the back.
He then left the scene and was taken into custody by police shortly after.
Kline pled guilty Thursday and was sentenced to up to 20 years in prison.
