LEWISBURG, Pa. — Union County Veterans' Fourth of July celebration started on Friday night.
A concert and fireworks show started at 7 p.m. at the Wolfe Field in Lewisburg. Saturday is the big parade which goes through downtown.
Officials expect to have a flyover from a plane that was built in the 50s all the way from the Air Heritage Aviation Museum in Beaver County.
"We get going with about a dozen bands, probably 100 or so veterans. North Shore Railroad is going to have an awesome two locomotives in downtown Hufnagle Park. We've got everything, and it's a great tribute to our vets," said Terry Burke, Union County Veterans 4th of July committee president.
The Fourth of July parade steps off at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Lewisburg.
