Crews knock down flames in Susquehanna County

Departments from two neighboring counties helped get the fire under control in Susquehanna County.

SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Fire hit a home in Susquehanna County.

Reports of the fire came in around 2:45 a.m. Tuesday. 

Crews from Susquehanna, Lackawanna and Wayne counties responded to the home along Station Hill Road in Lenox Township, near Hop Bottom.

Officials at the scene told Newswatch 16 the fire broke out in the chimney.

Three people were inside at the time. They all made it out safely in Susquehanna County.
