SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY, Pa. — Officials have released the identity of a victim from a crash Sunday morning in Susquehanna County.
According to state police, 20-year-old Charles Mordent died from his injuries after a crash around 10 a.m.
Mordent and another pedestrian were loading logs into the driver's side of a utility trailer parked on the right shoulder facing south, along Creek Road in Lenox Township, when a vehicle driving south struck them.
Both Mordent and the second pedestrian were taken to the hospital, where Mordent died, and the second victim was treated for moderate injuries.
There is no word on whether the driver from the accident will be charged.
