MIDDLEBURG -- The Snyder County Courthouse and surrounding roads have reopened after being closed Monday morning for an "emergency situation."
The Snyder County sheriff told Newswatch 16 the courthouse received a phone call that there was a bomb inside the building.
The building was cleared out and Routes 104 and 522 were closed.
The sheriff's department said a bomb-sniffing dog checked out the building and nothing was found. The building reopened just before noon.
No one is in custody at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
