Road closed in Snyder County due to sinkhole

SNYDER COUNTY, Pa. — A road is shut down in Snyder County due to a sinkhole according to PennDOT.

Specht Street is closed in both directions between West Street in McClure Borough, Snyder County, and Summit Road in Decatur Township, Mifflin County, due to a sinkhole three miles west of the Mifflin/Snyder County line.

Drivers are being detoured through Helfrick Road or West Street, Stuck Street, and Route 522 South.
