SNYDER COUNTY, Pa. — The sun was shining all day in Snyder County and some kids enjoyed the day at a playground outside of Selinsgrove.
"Enjoying the beautiful day in April with the kids," Lindsay Hile said.
"A beautiful day out and we like getting them together, interacting. They're cousins, so it's nice to have play dates like this on such beautiful days," Amanda Sheaffer said.
Gardeners also took advantage of the warm weather.
"I plant a lot of beets, green beans, maybe, and cucumbers," said Linda Hickman, as she spent part of the day at her plot in the East Snyder Community Garden.
"It's gorgeous, and this just happens to be the time of day, maybe I should come later, but at the time of day, I can get some stuff done. Just a little bit of cloud cover where it will be cool."
For many, it was the perfect day for a sweet treat. There was a steady line at Rita's throughout the day.
"I go to Susquehanna University, and it's the first time in a long time where it hit like 85 degrees, so I think everyone's just out and about just having fun and getting things like ice cream," Kalie Quaglia said.
People we spoke with are excited about the weather and looking forward to summer.
