MIFFLIN COUNTY, Pa. — A man from Snyder County faces homicide charges in Mifflin County.
State police were called to a home on Snook Road in Decatur Township Wednesday afternoon for reports of gunfire. When they arrived, William Shoop, 76, walked in and out of the home several times before throwing a rifle on a trampoline and then surrendering to troopers.
Inside, investigators found the body of Carrie Shoop, 64.
Both Carrie and William Shoop are from McClure in Snyder County.
William Shoop is charged with homicide and is locked up in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility.
