MONROE TOWNSHIP — J.C. Penney is planning to close around 40 stores nationwide this year, including one in our area.
One of the stores that is slated to close is in the Susquehanna Valley Mall near Selinsgrove in Snyder County.
Officials for the department store did not give an exact timetable when that location or the others across the country will close.
