GIRARDVILLE — A brutal attack on a woman has a man facing assault charges in Schuylkill County.
According to authorities, Andrew Clare, 30, went after a 38-year-old woman after a fight at a home Sunday in Girardville.
State police said the man threw her in a pool and held her head under water, then pulled her out by her throat and proceeded to throw her in again.
