POTTSVILLE -- Police were back at a home on West Norwegian Street in Pottsville on Tuesday collecting more evidence for what is now a homicide investigation.

Police discovered the body of Dat Huynh, 32, of Philadelphia, inside the home on Monday afternoon.

No one is in custody, but police said they are looking for a dark-colored SUV and two men who were around the home at the time of the crime.

People who live on West Norwegian Street said they never thought a homicide could happen in this part of the city.

Thomas Devitt of Pottsville said, "To look out and see all those police cars out there and everything that was going on, was like wow. Not in this neighborhood I didn't think."

Holly Moyer of Pottsville said, "It was just really strange and there was a lot of police around and then the coroner showed up so we knew something bad happened."

Pottsville police said this not a random crime and people in the area shouldn't be concerned.

However, yellow tape and police cars in front of the house have people who live in the neighborhood feeling uneasy.

"I always try to thank the policemen for doing what they do because it was really, really scary and I wouldn't want to do it," said Moyer.

Devitt lives next door to the home where Huynh's body was discovered.

He said the woman who owns the house, who he calls Tina, has lived there for about five years.

"Oh, they're great neighbors. Oh my god, they're friendly, they talk to you, they wave to you, they blow the horn at you. They're really nice people," said Devitt.

While he's not sure how the homeowner and Huynh are connected, he said that Tina did talk to police about the homicide.

"Oh my God, I hurt for her because she's such a nice person, oh my god she's a nice person," said the neighbor.

Pottsville Police would like anyone with information about the crime to give them a call at (570) 622-1234 and ask for extension 340, 331 or 332.
