ASHLAND, Pa. — A woman is dead after a crash in Schuylkill County.
Troopers say the 71-year-old woman from Ashland was crossing the 1600 block of Centre Street in the borough shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday night when she was struck by a car.
The woman died as a result of her injuries.
Investigators say she was not in the crosswalk and did not yield to traffic.
