SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — A man from Schuylkill County is locked up after allegedly exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl.
Investigators say Blaine Arner, 62, of Tamaqua, exposed himself to the child from his pickup truck in Lynn Township, Lehigh County, on March 11.
The girl told police a man had stopped his truck on Adams Street and asked her if she wanted to see his dog. When she approached the truck, he opened the driver's side front door of the vehicle and exposed himself, and she ran away.
Police released information about the incident and photos of the truck and received information that Arner may have been involved.
Arner was locked up on March 13 on unrelated theft and firearms charges.
Police charged Arner on Thursday with luring a child into a motor vehicle and indecent exposure.
Arner is a registered sex offender following his arrest and conviction more than 25 years ago in Schuylkill County on sexual assault charges.
