ASHLAND — A doctor in Schuylkill County was sentenced to up to 15 years behind bars.
Stephanie Tarapchak of Ashland was found guilty last October of illegally prescribing pain killers to patients who were drug-dependent. Several of those patients overdosed and one died.
A judge sentenced her Thursday to seven and a half to 15 years in prison.
