ALLENTOWN, Pa. — A Schuylkill County woman injured earlier this month in a car crash died Sunday at a hospital in Allentown, the Lehigh County coroner's office announced.
Mary Frances Peiffer, 82, of Auborn, died of injuries she suffered Sept. 11 during a car crash in West Brunswick Township. She was rushed to Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, where she passed away.
According to Coroner Daniel A. Buglio, she struck another vehicle on Route 61 in West Brunswick Township near Orwigsburg. The coroner ruled her death an accident.
Troopers in the Schuylkill Haven station of the state police are investigating, the coroner said. The state police have not released further information about the crash.
