SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — One man is dead, and another is locked up after a shooting in Schuylkill County.
Police say a 42-year-old man was shot and killed at a home along Franklin Street in East Union Township near Sheppton around 8 am. on Saturday.
Investigators took John Gustites, 67, into custody Saturday night and charged him with third-degree criminal homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person, and simple assault.
While officials believe it is an isolated incident, there is no word yet on what led to the deadly shooting.
Gustites remains locked up in Schuylkill County.
