SCHUYLKILL COUNTY, Pa. — A man from New Jersey died after a crash in Schuylkill County early Friday.
According to state police, Jerome Derenzo, 31, of Saddle River, New Jersey, died after losing control of his pickup shortly before 1 a.m. Friday on Route 901 in Barry Township, south of Lavelle.
Investigators said Derenzo was not wearing a seatbelt when he went off the road and hit an embankment. He died at the scene.
