PINE GROVE, Pa. — A man is dead after he crashed his speeding SUV into a Geisinger transit bus on Friday afternoon in Schuylkill County.

It happened just before 3:30 p.m. Friday along Pleasant Valley Road, also known as Route 443, in Pine Grove Township.

State police say Tyler Carl, 27, of Pine Grove was driving too fast along the highway when his SUV smashed right into a Ford Transit in the other lane.

That vehicle was a transport bus used by Geisinger, troopers confirm.

Both of the people inside the Geisinger bus were hurt, one of them badly.
