Former Shenandoah manager admits to theft

Investigators said more than $23,000 was taken from sewer and trash payments.

SHENANDOAH, Pa. — A former borough manager in Schuylkill County has pleaded guilty to stealing from Shenandoah accounts.

Officials say Alyssa Boris told them she put aside more than $23,000 that should have been deposited for sewer and trash payments in Shenandoah.

She was charged last May.

Boris was ordered to pay restitution and sentenced to five years of probation.
