HEGINS, Pa. — Volunteers from St. Andrew's Methodist Men's Bible Class cooked a traditional ham and eggs breakfast for Father's Day.
Folks came out to enjoy it in Valley View Park in Hegins Township.
This annual meal has become a family tradition for many, and several of the volunteers are fathers themselves.
"We've actually seen two families here that have five generations of men that come to this breakfast that are helpers there. We have about 25 men that help make the breakfast. And they are some of them are the second and third generation of other helpers that start at the breakfast. So it's really big of the chain and family here and a family tradition style here," said David Williams, President of St. Andrew's Methodist Men's Bible Class.
This was the 74th year for the breakfast in Schuylkill County.
